REPAIR · REPLACE · PERFORMANCE
Engine repair,
honest answers.
Cooling, fuel, ignition, and performance work. We tell you whether it’s worth fixing, replacing, or moving on — and we won’t take the job if it isn’t right for you.
Engine acting up?
Bring it to us first.
Overheating
Temp gauge climbing, steam from the hood. Pull over now — keep driving and you’ll warp the head. Tow it in.
Misfire / shaking
Rough idle, lack of power, check engine flashing. Could be coils, plugs, or fuel — don’t drive far on a misfire.
Smoke from exhaust
Blue (oil), white (coolant), or black (fuel) — each tells a different story. We diagnose before recommending major work.
Knocking / ticking
Could be lifters, rod knock, or just a loose heat shield. We listen, we test, we tell you what’s really going on.
Engine work we do every week,
quoted before any wrench moves.
Cooling system
Radiator, water pump, thermostat, hoses. We pressure test before replacing. Most cooling jobs are 1–2 days.
Fuel system
Fuel pumps, injectors, fuel pressure regulators. We test fuel volume and pressure before condemning a part.
Ignition
Plugs, coils, wires. Often the cheapest fix for a misfire — we replace the suspect part, not the whole set, unless it’s due.
Engine performance
Compression test, leakdown test, smoke test. Worth doing before a big purchase decision (rebuild vs replace vs sell).
Engine replacement
Sometimes the right answer. We’ll source a low-mile used engine or a remanufactured long block and walk you through both options.
DON’T LET IT GET WORSE
